The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling the company's products and services to companies via Internet and phone.
On this role, the person will close sales and take orders typically generated by relational account management, will provide technical and administrative information and quote prices, will manage mail marketing/sales literature to prospective clients, will keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company and prepare activity and forecast reports as requested.
The mix for the position may vary with the selling role.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sell Dell products and services by: placing outbound customer calls, placing outbound prospect calls and responding to customer inbound calls.
• Establish customer relationships with the "decision making unit": such as purchasing manager, IT-manager, finance manager, general director and other influencers.
• Forecast account goals by analyzing various sales reports such as, quotas vs. actual performance, lost sales and leasing.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors' products and pricing.
• Achieve quarterly targets through the management, direction and support of the internal sales team.
• Ensure work is undertaken in a manner which enhances the customer experience.
• Produce management information such as reports and metrics to help assess our current and projected position against forecast, plan and targets and to take appropriate action where required.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years of internal sales experience in the sale of hi-tech or technical products.
• IT hardware knowledge
• Experience with quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily targets setting
• Italian as mother tongue, Fluent English
